I know this because I’ve been to one of those schools where I studied fashion design more than 17 years ago.

Before then, my mother was a sewist, so I picked up the basics early. However, modern fashion design was a different ball game altogether.

So even though I had some skills, the real fashion industry was broader and more complex than I originally thought.

This made me lack confidence in myself to the point where I stopped telling people I knew how to sew.

But all that changed, and I started bursting with confidence to the point where I started my own fashion business and training school.

Since then, many of my students have become fashion business owners themselves.
